We’ll do our best to collect all your information before you come to minimize any waiting time on your visit. Your first visit will comprise of a comprehensive exam, which allows us to assess your oral health and develop a tailored treatment plan to treat any addressing issues. A cleaning may be done in this initial visit depending on the state of your oral health.

Comprehensive Exam

During your initial appointment with us, we will provide a comprehensive exam where we can assess your oral health and identify any addressing issues. In most cases, we’ll also perform a cleaning depending on the state of your oral health.

Tailored Treatment Plan

After the comprehensive exam, we’ll give you a detailed breakdown of your oral health, and if applicable, walk you though the different treatment options available. From there, we’ll help develop a custom treatment plan based your financial needs.

Our Comprehensive Exams

The comprehensive exam is an essential first step in the process, because it allows us to access the current state of your oral health and helps us identify any addressing issues. We’ll be sure to help you understand the different options available for treatment and empower you to make your own decision about your dental care.

Our comprehensive exams include the following:

Health History Evaluation: Your concerns, dental history, and medical history will be discussed to provide us with a background and give us a better idea of where to start.

Medication Review: Understanding any medications you are currently taking will help us understand the progression and management of your oral health.

Digital X-Rays: Digital X-rays will be taken by our staff to help us uncover any issues that may not be prevalent on the surface level.

Dental Health Assessment: Your overall oral hygiene, dental health, risks for tooth decay, gum and bone disease or any other potential issues will be assessed.

Teeth Cleaning and Stain Removal: In most cases, a dental cleaning will be performed to remove any plaque or tartar forming on your teeth. We will then we’ll finish it off with an application of fluoride to help protect and strengthen your enamel.

Oral Hygiene Review: If applicable, we’ll help you understand what preventable actions you can take to ensure your gums and teeth stay healthy.

TMJ and Muscle Examination: We will also assess your jaw joints and chewing muscles to ensure you do not have any disorders.

Bite and Jaw Examination: We’ll examine your bite and jaw to assess how your teeth fit together.

Cavity Check: An in depth review will be conducted to identify any cavities forming. If any are identified, we can develop a treatment plan to treat them and prevent the need for tooth extractions.

Restoration Examination: If applicable, all options for restoration will be assessed, which include fillings, crowns, bridges, implants and dentures.

Patient & Doctor Interview: After our examination, we’ll review our findings, walk you though the different treatment options available, and then answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Do you take patients without insurance?

We do! Patients without insurance have options. We can take your payment from a credit card, or you can apply for financing to spread your cost into affordable monthly payments. Click HERE for more info.

Do you take same day or walk in appointments?

We take walk in appointments, but it’s best that you call ahead of time to ensure minimum wait times. If you have an urgent issue that needs to be addressed, we’ll do our best to fit you into our schedule that same day!

Which insurance carriers do you take?

We work with most insurance carriers. If you have any questions regarding insurance or what your plan covers, please give us a call and we’ll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
